West Agro Backflush Sanitizers Can Block Mastitis Passed Between Cows.
Backflushing the cluster between cows is a critical step in controlling the spread of such contagious pathogens as Staph. aureus, Strep. agalactiae, and Mycoplasma species.

Acidet® is a high-foaming no-rinse germicidal backflush. It combines the strength of phosphoric and DDBSA acids in a formulation that sanitizes without damaging sensitive silicone or rubber liners and parts.

Maxidyne® is a concentrated, low-foaming backflush sanitizer. Maxidyne is an effective sanitizer with the fast-acting, broad spectrum killing power of iodine.

Backflushing with Maxidyne is an effective method to reduce intramammary and cow-to-cow transfer of mastitis organisms through the milking cluster.

Maxidyne is ideal for use on stainless steel, rubber, plastic and glass. It is not recommended for use on silicone.
